Okay, the Verizon Wireless sponsored American Idol wasn't really on tonight but neither were these four contestants... so whatever.
Anyway, with the top 24 getting whittled down to the Top 20; the four contestants who were one and done were Joanne Borgella, Amy Davis, Garrett Haley, and Colton Berry. With the big lesson of the week being, do not under any circumstances compare yourself to... Ellen Degeneres.
Seriously first Colton Berry joked that he resembles Degeneres, which slightly true, then Leif Garrett Jr. claimed that he also resembles Ellen, which is just the kind of out of left field statement a 17-year-old will make when he realizes he's about to tank on live television. Either way, America voted... and they couldn't care less.
Meanwhile on the girl's side Joanne Borgella was dubbed the big girl with a small voice, which isn't so much a backhanded complement as two insults and Amy Davis were also let go. I can't remember a single thing about Amy Davis and your probably wishing you could say the same thing.
